Dolly Parton has penned a new take on her iconic song “9 to 5” for a Super Bowl ad.

While the original 1980 song – written for the comedy film of the same name – is all about day jobs, the new version explores a different facet of the workday by focusing on side hustles.

Titled “5 to 9”, the new tune includes lyrics such as “Working 5 to 9/You’ve got passion and a vision/'Cause it’s hustling time/A whole new way to make a living” and “Gonna change your life/Do something that gives it meaning/With a website that is worthy of your dreaming”.

The song is used in an ad for Squarespace, a website building and hosting service. The commercial was directed by Damien Chazelle, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind La La Land.

“A lot of people through the years have wanted to change the lyrics to fit certain things they're doing,” Parton told The Associated Press of the spot. “I really thought that was a wonderful thing, especially for Squarespace. They're so into people, new entrepreneurs working after hours to start their own businesses. '5 to 9' seemed to be a perfect thing when they pitched it.”

Parton added: “Well I work 365 (days a year). I'm always working five to nine, nine to five. I work all hours of the night and day.  Whatever you need to do, you gotta get it done, however many hours it takes.”

The commercial, however, hasn’t resonated with every viewer.

Some on social media questioned its message and whether it celebrates the 24-hour work day, the gig economy, and the necessity to earn extra income to supplement day job earnings.
