Dolly Menga's move from Livingston to Atletico Petroleos completed

Livingston made no signings on transfer deadline day but did see two players leave the club.

Gregg Wylde was released from his contract early following a disappointing spell in West Lothian while Dolly Menga's loan deal to Angolan side Atletico Petroleos was finally completed.

Former Rangers winger Wylde had penned a deal in January that took him to the end of this season but hadn't featured for the club in eight months and was latterly training with the reserves.

Menga, meanwhile, hasn't featured for the Lions this term after expressing his wish to move to the Angolan top flight as he looks to force his way back into the national team. Livingston had filed all the relevant paperwork weeks ago but had been waiting on Atletico to do the same. The Angolan FA finally ratified the deal yesterday.

The flamboyant Menga signed a contract extension with the Lions prior to making the move. He netted twice in 26 appearances last term, including a famous winner over Rangers.

Meanwhile, the West Lothian Courier understands that midfielder Steve Lawson is looking for a return to France. The Togo international is under contract until the end of the season.
