Dollars and sense: Examining Bears' free-agent deals

April 06--With free agency off and rolling, here is a dollars and sense breakdown of the contracts for the players the Chicago Bears have signed, updated as the information becomes available.

--Omar Bolden

Overview: $840,000 one-year contract with $80,000 guaranteed

2016: $760,000 base salary, $80,000 signing bonus

Total: $840,000

Cap figure: $680,000

(Note: Bolden's deal is considered a minimum salary benefit deal. It includes a full split at $428,000 if he is placed on injured reserve.)

--Manny Ramirez

Overview: $965,000 one-year contract with $80,000 guaranteed

2016: $885,000 base salary, $80,000 signing bonus

Total: $965,000
