NEW YORK (Reuters) - The dollar slipped against the yen late on Tuesday following a Bloomberg report that U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing to release a list of an additional $200 billion in Chinese products to be hit with tariffs.
At 5:24 p.m. EDT (2124 GMT), the greenback was 0.02 percent weaker compared with the Japanese currency, which traders favour as a safe-haven asset, at 110.96 yen <JPY=>, according to Reuters data.
