It seems all is well between Doja Cat and the “musty” fan she slammed on social media earlier this year, with the pair appearing to reconcile at the pop star’s recent concert.
ICYMI, the “Say So” singer took to X back in June to let loose on a fan encounter she had with influencer Pablo Tamayo.
The interaction was captured in a streetside video shared by Tamayo, and it sees him gifting his shirt to Doja, forgetting her real name (Amala), and giving her a hug.
After the video went viral, Doja reacted with a series of fiery posts, telling Tamayo not to “touch me and man handle me” and saying the situation made her “uncomfortable”.
“I threw that musty ass shirt away,” Doja’s Louvre-worthy clapback read.
Flash-forward a few months and the pair have now seemingly put their issues to bed, with Tamayo spotted in the audience of Doja’s recent performance at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco.
The duo are on such good terms, in fact, that Doja actually gave Tamayo a mid-set shoutout, telling the audience she “knew I smelled something” before the camera panned to Tamayo grinning from ear-to-ear.
“Musty boy!” Doja screamed during her performance of the track “Go Off”.
Tamayo went on to unzip his jacket to reveal a shirt emblazoned with, you guessed it, the phrase heard ‘round the world: “Musty Boy”.
It seems the shirt is from the same line that Tamayo launched immediately after the X spat in June, and just to ensure he covered all bases, it also comes in singlet form.
But their reconciliation didn’t stop there, with Tamayo reuniting with Doja face-to-face after her Outside Lands set.
Naturally, Tamayo shared that interaction on social media, saying he and Doja “made up” and asking her how he smells.
“You smell amazing,” Doja said.
Later in the clip, Tamayo apologised for not knowing Doja’s real name, and asked the one question that’s been on everyone’s musty ass lips for weeks: “did you actually throw the shirt away?”
“I don’t know…,” the singer replied, before promptly darting off the screen.
The squashed feud makes one thing clear: if you ever get to meet Doja Cat, make sure you’re doused in a level of deodorant that verges on causing an asthma attack.
