Doireann Garrihy has explained why she still lives with her sister Ailbhe - even though she's newly married.
Doireann revealed she recently received a message on social media criticising her current living situation, RSVP Live reports.
She said on her podcast, The Laughs of Your Life: "I got a message on Instagram saying 'When are you going to move out and let the newlyweds live their lives'?"
Ailbhe also said that people keep asking her when she and her new husband Rory are going to get their own place, and they do plan on buying a home together in the next couple of years.
But unconventional as it may be, their current living situation makes sense for them - especially as their parents own the house.
"First of all, it's no-one's business. Second of all, people probably don't know but we rent this house off our parents so we have that connection to it," businesswoman Ailbhe explained.
"We’re very lucky that mom and dad are our landlords, so there's a bit of flexibility there. We're very happy and we get on like a house on fire.
"When the time is right we will find our own place or you might find your own place beforehand.
"But there is zero stress there and we're delighted to have you."
