Dogs Trust West Calder appeal for new home for Jess

Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for Jess, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Husky, who is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Her carers say Jess is a really friendly and affectionate girl who adores company and meeting new people.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “At just four years old, she has boundless energy and loves going for walks and playing with her toys in the garden. She is no stranger to home comforts however and is often stretched out on the sofa after a long walk. This loveable girl is full of life and fun and she will be sure to make you smile – especially when you see her trademark grumpy expressions.

“As a curious girl who loves the fresh air, Jess can become quite strong on her lead and so she will need an active owner who loves the outdoors as much as her.

“Jess enjoys going for trips in the car, loves having new adventures and she can live with children aged around 10 years old and above. She is always happy to socialise with dogs she meets on walks, but she would prefer to be the only dog at home to make sure she gets all the cuddles she needs.”

If you think you could provide Jess, or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, with their forever home please contact the West Calder centre on 01506 873459.
