Dogs Trust is asking dog lovers to walk 99km next month to raise money for a good cause

If you’re looking for something exciting to do with your beloved pooch this summer, Dogs Trust has launched a fantastic new challenge called “99K for Canines”- and it’s all for a good cause.

The new campaign hopes to raise vital funds for the dog rescue charity.

Animal lovers who sign up will have to take a walk with or without their dogs and cover 99km throughout the month of August.

Those who take part will be sent a 99k for Canines t-shirt and bandanas for their dogs to wear on their walks.

You can get involved by joining the Facebook fundraising page and post pictures and updates of your daily walks.

Everyone who completes a challenge will receive a certificate of completion and a 99k for Canines dog tag to place on your dog’s collar.
