Dogs Trust Ireland is hiring a receptionist in its Dublin rehoming centre

Dogs Trust Ireland is hiring - and it sounds like the perfect job for officer workers who love dogs.

The Dublin canine charity is looking for a receptionist at its Finglas rehoming centre to provide two and four-legged visitors with a friendly welcome.

As well as providing a warm and welcome greeting, relevant assistance and information and ensuring a positive visitor experience, the successful candidate will also be tasked with a variety of administrative duties to aid the efficient running of the centre.

Dog of the Week: Dolly the Collie is a sweet older lady with a playful, affectionate personality

These include answering telephone calls and emails, keeping the reception area clean and presentable and helping the Assistant Manager to maintain accurate paper and electronic records.

You'll also assist visitors in the Dogs Trust rehoming process, explaining paperwork to adopters and making them aware of any relevant processes, such as SAS, veterinary requirements i.e. post op care/appointments and medication.

It's a 40 hour, five shift per week role which may include some late (11am – 8pm) and weekend shifts.

You can apply for the job here.
