Staffies make wonderful pets, affectionately known as nanny dogs and "sweet" Millie lives up to her breeds' reputation.
The 8-year-old Staffordshire cross is currently living at the Dogs Trust in West Calder but she needs a forever home.
Staff describe Millie as an "incredibly sweet girl who adores getting lots of fuss and big cuddles from her family".
This energetic and excitable pooch also takes great enjoyment in walks where she can explore, sniff and have fun running around and loves a road trip in the car.
Another plus of a slightly older dog, is that she is already house-trained and is happy to be at left alone for a couple of hours - but will be ready to greet you with a wagging tail when you come home.
However she doesn't come without challenges and can be a little shy when she first meets people.
But don't let this stop you because this girl loves making new friends and can be won over with a few treats!
While Millie is friendly with other dogs, an ideal home for her would be one where she is top dog, which is to say she has to be the only pup in the house.
She needs an experienced owner and one who LOVES staffies, obviously, and can live with teens 16 years or older.
