Dogs loving Disney - one minute of adorable pups watching their favourite movies

It's not just humans who love a good Disney movie - it appears dogs do too.

And these adorable pups engrossed in their favourite films are sure to melt hearts like Olaf in Frozen.

From copying the cast members, to cute head tilts to get a better view, these dogs sit and watch iconic animations more intently than most kids.

Posting the clips to the popular video sharing platform, TikTok, these videos have racked up millions of views in 2021, proving that, not only do dogs love Disney, but humans love watching dogs watching Disney, just as much.

So here are four times, and one minute, of dogs watching their favourite Disney movies.

Dottie’s 101 Doppelgangers

Dottie the Dalmatian fits right in with the cast of this 1961 Disney classic.

The puppy was caught watching 101 Dalmatians , where all of the characters look just like her.

The tiny spotty dog fits right in with her doppelgangers as she watches a scene where Perdita, Pongo and the pups are watching a Kanine Krunchies advert, jumping up at the TV for a closer look in the adorable TikTok video.

Even her name, Dottie, is very apt, and wouldn’t look amiss alongside Lucky, Rolo, Patch and Freckles.

I just can’t wait to be King

Nobu and Caesar watching The Lion King (TikTok @nobu_smaj)

Golden retriever Nobu and his feline sibling, Caesar, can’t get enough of everyone’s favourite film - The Lion King.

The duo were spotted watching the 2019 live action remake - featuring Beyonce and Seth Rogan - with Caesar even creeping forward for a closer look at the cubs.

In a TikTok video posted by the account @nobu_smaj, Nobu stands in front of the television set with his tail wagging, with Caesar the cat sitting on the media stand as Simba sings ‘I Just Can’t Wait To Be King’.

Some might say it was simply a coincidence that the dog and cat were both watching the TV, but a second video posted weeks later sees the duo sitting on a bed beside their baby twin brothers with the film on.

Hey, Pongo! Watch this!

Daisy the German shepherd watching 101 Dalmatians (TikTok @Daisygirlgsd)

Perdita isn’t the only dog with eyes for Pongo in 101 Dalmatians. Daisy the German shepherd has taken a liking to him too.

An impossibly cute TikTok video saw the two-year-old dog watching the ‘a gentleman always has his handkerchief ready’ scene in the 60-year-old movie.

In the clip, cheeky Pongo stole Roger’s hat in the park and shook it, and as he ragged it in his mouth, Daisy followed his lead and did the exact same with her toy from her living room.

Only, she did so with such impeccable timing, it seemed as though she’d watched and copied the film many times before.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of this lovestruck pup, with one saying it was the ‘best thing I’ve seen today’.

Do you want to build a snowman?

The Staffy was mesmerised by Frozen's Anna (TikTok @tashacopetattoo)

Even the newer Disney films are popular with dogs, including the hit animated movie Frozen.

One Staffordshire bull terrier went viral on TikTok for his adorable reaction to the sweet story set in Arendale.

Owned by tattoo artist, Natasha Cope, the blue Staffy stood on the bed watching the popular 2013 animation more intently than any toddler.

Anna could be heard singing ‘Do You Want To Build A Snowman?’ as the intrigued pup walks to the bottom of the bed for a closer look at the TV while wagging his tail, tilting his head with attentive ears.

The 23-year-old, from Chesterfield, in Derbyshire, said: “I may be biased but he’s the cutest little angel. Frozen is his favourite Disney film.”
