A soft dog toy bearing the resemblance of Russian President Vladimir Putin is being sold online.
The Daily Star reports that the stuffed "Pet Hate Toy" is available to buy on online auction website eBay and retails between £17.99 and £19.99. Stuffed with polyester and made out of durable poly-canvas material, the plush toy is designed to be chewed and pawed at by pet pooches.
The toy is fitted with squeakers in the head and belly areas to further amuse and entertain our furry friends. The product is made in the UK and is being sold by eBay user risana.vet.
It depicts Putin as being topless. He is wearing a hammer and sickle necklace and sports a KGB tattoo on his right arm.
The Russian president isn't the only politician to receive the plush toy treatment. Depictions of former prime minister Theresa May, Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Priti Patel are also available from the seller. They are marketed as being "100% pawlitical".
Ex-US president Donald Trump is also for sale in toy form. But pet owners who would like to throw Nigel Farage to the dogs may be disappointed as a toy sharing the likeness of the former Ukip leader has sold out.
Other more expensive novelty Putin products can also be purchased online. A vinyl Japanese version of the former KGB officer can be bought for between £400 and £500. Meanwhile, realistic plastic sculptures of the Russian leader's head can be bought for just over £50 each.
