An adorable Labrador and Shar Pei mix is desperately hoping for a 'second chance' after seven years waiting for a forever home.
The pet, named Ginger, was rescued from abuse, but has had a few problems as a result.
She can be nervous and can't live with small children.
The shelter looking after her also says she has to be the only pet in a home - and it takes her a while to form a bond with people.
Although she has had behaviour issues as a result of her traumatic ordeal, this has got a lot better recently.

There's now been huge interest in Ginger after Mission Drive shared a heartbreaking photo of her on Facebook .
She's pictured in a cage next to a sign saying: "Hi, I'm Ginger.
"I've been here waiting 7 years, 9 months, 2 weeks, 2 days.

"I'm a good girl! I promise! I just need a 2nd chance."
Dogwood Animal Shelter in Missouri, where she lives, said: "Thank you for the outpouring of concern about Ginger.
"Long term residency for animals in a true no-kill shelter is a problem not unique to Dogwood Animal Shelter.
"The fact that she would be best placed in a home with no other animals or small children has narrowed the possibilities, but we never give up trying."
