Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan pays tribute to beloved ‘right hand’ dog after death

Dog behaviour expert Cesar Millan has paid tribute to his ‘right hand’ dog Junior, who passed away last week.

The Dog Whisperer shared a beautiful video montage as he spoke fondly of the 15-year-old dog.

“This is the hardest part in life,” he said.

“Especially when you love someone and that someone has created such a great impact in the world.”

Junior passed away July 21, but Cesar - a very spiritual man - believes his soul lives on.

He added: “Junior having his physical body to an end, as I believe their spirit and his heart is here, all his memories will never go away but the end of his body is the beginning of a new era.”

Cesar shared the video in the early hours of July 29, just one day before his latest show with National Geographic is set to air.

Junior appears in numerous episodes of Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog, premiering on Friday.

The trainer added: “He was my right hand so he’s going to be in pretty much every episode.

"I hope everyone will honour his existence, his memory, his heart, his contribution to the world and for him to remind people that it’s not the breed - it’s the human behind the dog.

“Pitbulls can be the most spiritual, the most loving, the most positive breed in the world.”
