Milly Bear will interrupt symptoms of PTSD or autism by nudging or gently pawing her face and reassures her in busy places.

The mother-of-two, from Trinity, has entered her "angel" Milly-Bear into the 2019 Pet Hero Awards by security experts Safe.

She told Edinburgh Live: "We bonded straight away..

"She alerts and responds to complex PTSD triggers and flashbacks, autism sensory issues and I also use her to block space in busy places, she is also learning deep pressure on my lap to ground me."
