A dog peed on a BBC Breakfast presenter as she was filming on West Kirby beach in Wirral.
Jayne McCubbin was shooting at the beauty spot to highlight the transition for dog owners as they plan to go back to work in offices, restaurants and non-essential shops.
Joining her on TV was a small kennel of dogs enjoying the sand and sunshine, and it seems one Shih Tsu Cross got a little over-excited.
Speaking to viewers, Jayne said: "It's chaos down here, absolute chaos. Monty has been very frisky this morning he has been getting amorous with all the other dogs - so don't do it live on television Monty, OK?
"And Buster, Buster here, just before the headlines peed all over the back of my coat."
She also tweeted a picture of the offender looking very innocent with the caption: "Newsflash! BUSTER JUST PEED ON ME DURING @BBCBreakfast HEADLINES [laughing emoji]."
Jayne was reporting on the number of households who had bought dogs through lockdown and were now facing the difficult task of transitioning to spending less time at home with their pets.
They spoke with training experts who said puppies, in particular, would have great difficulty if they have not been properly socialised yet and that if people are looking to train their dogs it should've at least four weeks before they plan to return to working outside the home.
Vet Dr Rhiannon Mansell told Jayne while they were on West Kirby beach: "Lockdown has brought its own challenges.
"But now dogs are being left on their own for a much longer time and they are just not used to it."
She gave some quick tips to help separation anxiety, she said: "Start now, before you go back you want to start building up the amount of time you leave them on their own.
"Start with just five - 10 minutes, giving them something that will engage their brain as well, things like a treat ball or puzzle feeders are fantastic."
