Dog walker racially abused and had mud thrown at her in Newton Aycliffe

Police are hunting a man and woman who racially abused a dog walker.

The woman was walking her dog along The Burn, in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, around 8.35am on August 27.

A man and woman, who were unknown to her, also threw mud at the victim.

Officers described the man as in his mid 30s, wearing a red skull mask in a Covid-19 style, an Adidas tracksuit and had a tattoo of a Bull Dog on his right hand.

Also in her mid 30s, the woman was wearing a tracksuits and was described as plump shaped, with short red, dyed hair and a piercing on her left eyebrow.

If anyone has any information which could assist in identifying these individuals please contact Durham Police on 101 quoting incident number DHM-27082020-0418.
