Dog Trust seek new home in West Lothian for Fergus

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for a happy young dog.

Fergus is a three-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Hie carers say the fun-loving boy is a typical terrier who is full of life and loves to keep busy whether he is setting off on country walks, discovering new places to explore or playing games in the garden.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “He loves nothing more than playing with his favourite toys, especially the squeaky ones.

“He is a total foodie and will do anything for a biscuit.

“Fergus is a sensitive soul who will love his owners unconditionally but is worried by strangers and can take his time getting to know new people.

“He is looking for a patient and understanding owner who can take the time to build a trusting relationship with him. He is looking for an adult-only home in a quiet and peaceful environment and would like to be the only pet.

“Fergus has a loving personality and will always greet you with the best wiggle and happy smile.”

If you think you can offer Fergus or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming please contact the centre on 01506 873459.

You can also follow Dogs Trust West Calder on Twitter @DT_WestCalder for regular updates on events and dogs available for rehoming.

Please look at the Dogs Trust website for access details during the coronavirus outbreak.
