Dog the Bounty Hunter pays tribute to late wife Beth Chapman on her birthday

Dog the Bounty Hunter paid a touching tribute to his late wife on what would have been her 52nd birthday.

Beth Chapman died earlier this year as she lost her battle with throat cancer.

Yesterday would have been her birthday.

Her devastated husband, the famous bounty hunter whose real name is Duane Chapman, took to Instagram to share a beautiful picture of them together.

He reposted the image from her account, which shows them locked in an embrace as they stand together on a porch.

She had shared the picture with her followers back in February, captioning it: "Sooooo in love with this guy !"

As Dog reshared the picture, his fans rushed to offer him comfort.

One said: "She loved you so much. Still does."

Another commented: "Miss you Beth"

And one wrote: "Happy first birthday in heaven sweet beautiful Beth! We all love you and pray for your sweet husband and family everyday !"

The couple starred together in their own reality show, called Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Dog, 66, had his own health emergency three months after his wife's death when he was rushed to hospital in Colorado.

He blamed the chest pains he was suffering on a broken heart.

Speaking to FOX31, he admitted he was struggled to adjust to life without Beth.

When asked about his chest pains, Duane said: "I think, basically, I had a broken heart. And of course, it's going to heal.

"It feels much better now. And I'm going through some psychological things right now too, so that doesn't help."

Duane had described the chest pains as "like he had been on a three or four-mile run".

He's also spoken out to deny that he's dating anyone else after his wife's tragic death.

He told People Now: "When your spouse dies, as a man, I mean as me, so generally probably everybody, you’re released from that obligation of being married."
