Dog The Bounty Hunter has proudly flaunted his latest relationship and said that this time his late wife Beth Chapman would approve of his partner.
Dog, real name Duane Chapman, made the romantic announcement as he posed for a series of snaps with girlfriend Francie Frane, obtained by The Sun.
Francine is a 51-year-old rancher from Colarado and is said to be making the 67-year-old TV star very happy.
Unlike Dog's last girlfriend, Moon Angell, Francine has the blessing of Dog's outspoken family.
His daughter Lysssa Chapman and close family friend Rainy Robinson told The Sun that they are very pleased with the match and 'couldn't be happier' for widower Dog.
The lovebirds were introduced when Francie's husband Bob was asked to do some work at Dog's Colorado mansion.
Sadly, Bob later died just several months before Dog's wife Beth lost her battle with cancer in June.
Dog and Francie bonded over their shared grief before their friendship turned to romance, Lyssa claims.
"Francie has been very respectful to all the kids - and to Beth's memory - and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children," she explained.
"They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking - she is a good woman for my dad.
"He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time - he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie."
Lyssa added that given their mutual circumstances, Dog and Francie are both very respectful of each other's grieving processes and aren't trying to act as a replacement.
"Beth would approve - I honestly believe that Beth sent Francie for my dad - I feel like Beth and Bob are up there watching down over them," said Lyssa.
Her reaction makes a marked change from her response to Dog's last girlfriend Moon Angell.
Lyssa, 32, was very vocal in her disgust at her dad coupling up with Beth's former friend Moon, who also used to date his son.
Despite mass disapproval from the Chapman clan, Moon and Dog enjoyed a brief fling before calling things off last month.
