Dog the Bounty Hunter: Duane Chapman rushed to hospital with 'heart problems'

Duane Chapman, best known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, has been rushed to hospital.

Reports suggest the reality TV star was suffering from heart problems.

A representative for Mr Chapman said: "I can confirm Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep 'em coming."

They gave no further details of his illness.

It comes just three months after Mr Chapman's wife, Beth, passed away just three months ago.

Dog The Bounty Hunter aired on US TV network A&E from 2004 until 2012 when it was cancelled.

It followed Dog and his family as they travelled the states of Colorado and Hawaii working as bounty hunters, tracking down people who had avoided arrest warrants.

The Chapmans, who live in Honolulu, later starred in other similar reality shows, including Country Music Television's Dog & Beth: On The Hunt.
