A broken mirror found in the trash turned into a nightmare for one family. Their story has become one of the most talked about haunted object cases linked to Amityville Horror. Paranormal researchers Tony and Todd shared the details of what happened when a father brought home what seemed like a normal mirror tile.
The father saw the cracked mirror at a dump and decided to take it home. He hung it in the hallway without thinking much about it. Soon after, weird things started happening around the house. The family noticed their clocks showing the wrong time. Strange faces would show up when the mirror got foggy. Dark fingerprints kept coming back even after they cleaned the mirror. Their dog would not walk past the mirror no matter what they did.
Things got so bad that the father decided to get rid of the mirror for good. He took it back to the dump and left it there, as per RGSO. But when morning came, the family could not believe what they saw. The mirror was back in their house, wrapped up and sitting under their hallway table. Nobody knew how it got there.

After the mirror came back, even stranger things began to happen. The family started hearing scratching sounds coming from inside the wrapped package. Then something even more bizarre occurred. Water started rising inside their home but stopped at exactly the same height where the mirror used to hang on the wall. The family knew they had to do something drastic.
They decided to throw the mirror into a canal, hoping the water would take care of it once and for all. They wrapped it up and carried it to the canal. When they pushed it into the water, they watched it float for a bit. The mirror turned around in the water and they saw something dark appear before it finally went under and disappeared.
