Jaipur Nagar Nigam's official complaint registration portal has gone viral on social media after screenshots surfaced showing its dropdown complaint categories written entirely in plain, conversational Hindi, the kind people use in everyday conversation rather than anything resembling formal bureaucratic language.
The screenshots, first widely shared on X by user Ravi Handa, show the portal's complaint subcategory options listed under sections covering shelterless animals, dead animals, and door-to-door garbage collection. Handa wrote alongside his post: "I love how real the Jaipur Nagar Nigam website is. Yes. This is the official website."
'Dog Pagal Ho Gaya Hai Pakadwana Hai': What the Portal Actually Says
Under the shelterless animal category, the dropdown options read: Dog bahut ho gaye hai, Monkey bahut ho gaye hai, Pig bahut ho gaye hai, Dog pagal ho gaya hai pakadwana hai, and Other.
The dead animal section lists: Janwar mar gaya hai, Cow mar gayi hai, Bull mar gaya hai, Horse mar gaya hai, Gaaye ka bachcha mar gaya hai, and Other.
The garbage collection section goes further, listing complaints including Gaadi nahi aa rahi hai, Gaadi samay per nahi aati hai, Gaadi per gana nahi bajta hai, Gaadi nahi rukti hai teji se chali jati hai, Helper Nahi Aata Hai, Gaadi Wala Paise Mangta Hai, and Helper Kachara Nahi Uthata Hai.
