Purebred dogs have twice the risk of crossbreeds - but the nine dog breeds the experts have identified as most at risk are varied.
The most vulnerable dog prone to suffer heatstroke is a chow chow as this breed of dog is 17 times more likely to suffer a heatstroke. This is closely followed by a Bulldog - which is 14 times more likely to suffer heastroke
