Staffordshire Bull Terriers were named the nation's favourite breed of dog- yet there are still many looking for a new home.
Although not officially recognised by the Kennel Club until 1930, the breed has beaten any previous stereotype attached to it, and is known as a great family pet.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers were recently voted as the UK’s favourite dog breed in a competition run by TeamDogs , in association with Pooch and Mutt.
They beat the likes of Labradors, Cockapoos and German Shepherds to the title, however, not all of the dogs are lucky enough to be so loved and there are many searching for new homes.
TeamDogs has found some of the Staffies still looking to be rehomed across the Greater Manchester area- do you have space on your sofa for the UK’s most beloved breed?
