Dog mystery on the train to Paisley

An incident thought to involve a Staffordshire terrier-type dog on a Paisley train is being probed.

Transport Police failed to shed any light on what happened inside the carriage.

Instead they released a barely recognisable image enhanced from the train’s camera system.

The man has ginger hair which appears to be greying and is described as middle aged and wearing spectacles.

A spokesman refused to say if the dog bit anyone on the service.

The mystery incident is said to have taken place on the Paisley Canal line on astonishing six weeks ago.

The incident on April 7 was on the 4.09pm service and happened at Cardonald Station.

The man in the picture who could help with the investigation is around 5 ft 10 ins and wearing a dark bubble jacket, grey jogging trousers andlight grey trainers.

Passengers who saw what went on should call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100023099.
