Luckily for dogs – and for their owners – groomers have still been allowed to operate as normal.
For many, the thought of having to give the dog a trim fills them with dread.
But one owner thought she'd give it a try anyway.
Wanting to save money and thinking it couldn’t be that hard to get her pooch looking perfect, she soon found out the true reality – and how dog grooming is a talent we don't all possess.
Sharing the before-and-after photos in a video on TikTok, the caption read: “Pls for the love of God, don’t come at me. I genuinely tried my best and feel horrible.”
The video has gone viral with 4.8 millions views and has attracted thousands of comments.
Many users are questioning if it is even the same dog.
The poor pet looked less than impressed with the groom, with one commenting on how she even looked tearful.
They commented: “Bro was holding back tears” to which the owner posted another video in reply and said “she really was”.
Others questioned if it was even the same breed, let alone the same dog.
A second user said: “Did you change her entire breed as well?”
While another commented: “How u go from a Yorkie to a Chihuahua?? Lmaooo.”
And the poor dog was the butt of many jokes too.

We think maybe next time she might leave it to the professionals.
