A video showing a Shiba Inu falling off a chair after being pushed by a tabby cat has gone viral.
The clip, captioned "Not my dog's best moment" shows Aiko, a Shiba Inu, jumping onto a spinning chair to say hi to the tabby cat sitting on the desk. He puts his paws on the table to playfully nibble the cat's leg at which point he is dabbed by a cat paw.
Almost in slow motion, chair rolls backwards, and Aiko overbalances and falls off the back, into the glass door.
Aiko was unhurt, although the same cannot necessarily be said for his pride as the cat was left standing victoriously above.
The nine second video was posted to Twitter by American journalist Jeff Yang on July 30.
Jeff responded to the viral hit by replying to his post, saying: "There is this moment where Aiko looks wildly around and has a sudden revelation in her furry brain about the laws of physics that's absolutely classic."
Followers of Jeff left tonnes of comments saying how they found the reactions of both the dog and cat "hilarious".
Journalist Aisha Sultan commented: "Karma is a cat."
Korean-American writer Euny Hong simply put: "LMAO. Signed, a cat lover."
Dan Nguyen typed: "Cat showed more concern than expected."
Aiko's slightly embarrassing fall is the latest in a thread of viral dog videos shared by bemused owners.
Last week, Willow the Golden Retriever was filmed demonstrating her love for the Olympics equestrian, copying the moves of the horses on TV.
