Dog groomer loves her job so much she gets company's logo TATTOOED on her body

A pet groomer has shown her dedication to the job by getting a tattoo of the company's logo on her leg.

Rachel Wallace, from Wythenshawe, has become the 'paw-fect' employee after braving the pain and getting a permanent reminder of her job at Four Paw Doggie Daycare and Pet Grooming in Cheshire.

While some people try to forget work after they finish for the day, Rachel will have a reminder for life after getting a version of the salon's logo etched on her body.

The 39-year-old made the decision to get Four Paws dog Boo and his bone on her leg after a visit to TattSues in Oldham, due to a long-running joke with her boss that she's not allowed to leave, Manchester Evening News reports.

She explained: "It's a standing joke that I'm not allowed to go anywhere but this really proves I won't.

"I guess now my leg is part of my CV - I'm covered in tattoos so it seemed only right to have Boo as well."

It's not the first tattoo the Wythenshawe woman has had.

When she was 29-years-old she had a tribute to her dad inked on her right arm and has been a tattoo addict ever since.

She also has a tribute to her late Staffie Labrador cross Bonnie and a paw design in honour of her saluki Toffee.

Rachel said: "I absolutely love working with dogs as they don't have any bad in them. Even if they try to bite you it's only because they are scared."

The tattoo has impressed Rachel's boss Fern Gresty, who is amazed by her dedication to the job.

Fern added: "Rachel is the most dedicated dog groomer and we are privileged that she works with us to pamper the dogs in Cheshire.

"I am personally in awe of her dedication and so proud to know the business I created means as much to other people as to me! Rachel always had a job for life at Four Paws but now we are literally a part of her."
