A series of frozen raw dog foods are being recalled due to salmonella being found in them.
They are being recalled by manufacturer Dogs Choice UK.
Salmonella can cause illness in both animals and humans, meaning that the products could pose a risk through either handling the food, or via feeding bowls, utensils or animal faeces, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps in humans.
Infected animals, meanwhile, may not necessarily display signs of illness, but symptoms can include diarrhoea.
Notices placed in stores that sell the food explain the reason for the recall and tell customers what to do if they have bought the product.

Anyone who has bought any of the above products should not use them, but instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a refund.
