Dog Ears is about a girl who talks to her dog about life. Her life is quite hard as she has started year 7 and her little brother Jack was born too early so her mum is always looking after him, plus her dad is a journalist so he is always away from home. Her grandma is also moving into a care home.
There are exciting things, though, like Franki Santoro, a rock star, is coming to the school for a singing competition!
I really liked this book as it is very detailed, but without being complicated so you don’t get annoyed and you will be able to understand it properly. I would suggest reading this book when you have more than 20 minutes so you can really get into it and it will make more sense.
I give this book 3.5 stars
