A GROUP of teenagers allegedly used a dog door to gain entry to a luxury Merewether home while on a robbery spree over the weekend.
According to police the teenagers - two 15 year olds and a 16 year old - broke into a home on Curry Street some time between 1am and 4am Sunday morning.
They stole "several thousands of dollars" worth of items including luxury handbags, credit cards, alcohol and an Audi sedan.
Police were called at 5am on Sunday and within hours had identified the three young people who were arrested on a nearby Merewether street.
Police believe the Curry Street break in was just one of several offences, including the ransacking of a home nearby on the same night where the offenders entered through the home's dog door.
All teenagers were charged with multiple offences including aggravated break and enter, stealing a motor vehicle and armed with intent to commit a serious indictable offence. Investigations are continuing. The teenagers are due to appear at Broadmeadow Children's Court.
