Dog attacked and killed in Falkirk as cops probs into incident

A dog has been attacked and killed by another dog in Falkirk.

The Lhasa Apso was walking along the canal towpath near to Gambero Rosso in Grahams Road at around 3pm on Thursday April 22, when it was mauled by what is described as a Doberman or black Greyhound type dog.

Officers have started an investigation into the incident and want to speak to a man who was there at the time.

He's described as white, around 40-50 years old of medium build with grey hair.

It thought he was wearing light blue jeans, an orange coloured jumper and a black tammy-style hat.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Along with our partners at Falkirk Council we are trying to identify any witnesses of this incident and a male who was there at the time of in the incident.

"If you have any information, please call 101, quoting reference 1998 of 22nd April 2021."
