Does Una Healy attack cheating ex-husband Ben Foden in new single about 'broken promises'?

Una Healy appears to lay into her cheating ex-husband Ben Foden in her latest single as she sings about “broken promises” and “believing lies”.

The former Saturdays star addresses a break-up in sad ballad Strangers, which is inspired by her split from rugby ace Foden last year, according to The Sun.

Healy reportedly accuses Foden of “feeding her lies” and reveals that she “felt like she was going crazy” when she was listening to him speak.

One lyric reads: “Every word you said to me was empty/Broken every promise that you made me/No we can’t save this.”

Another reads: “So save your breath/There’s nothing left worth keeping anyway/We are so much better off/To go our separate ways.”

Standard Online has contacted represetatives of Healy for comment.

Healy and Foden, who married in 2012, split shortly after their sixth wedding anniversary last year over claims that he had been unfaithful.

At the time, a source told The Sun that Healy had become “suspicious” of his behaviour and confronted him about it, leading to their split.

The couple have two children together – Aoife Belle, six, and Tadhg, three – and a separate source claimed that Healy was concerned he was cheating during her second pregnancy.

“Una is an intelligent woman, and had seen first-hand how women would throw themselves at Ben on nights out,” the insider told The Sun.

“He’s a friendly chap and is always chatting to girls when he goes out, but while she was pregnant she would get worried it was something more.”

Last month, Foden – now in the United States – admitted that it was “right” to see media coverage slating him because he “was the one who committed adultery”.

But he told the Guardian that it “wasn’t the only reason” they went their separate ways, adding: "It's not ideal but we're very amicable, we're getting through it.”
