Quiz: Does Meghan Markle know enough to become a British citizen?

Meghan Markle will become part of the Royal family when she marries Prince Harry this weekend but the American actor will have to pass a test before she can become a British citizen.

But it won't happen automatically. It's been confirmed she'll have to follow the same citizenship procedure as anyone else.

Ms Markle will need to have lived in the UK for three years before submitting her application.

During those three years she must have no serious criminal record and spent no more than 270 days outside of the UK.

After all that, she can sit the Life in the UK test — the final step to becoming a citizen.

We've taken the following questions from the official practice test, but we've made up some of the answers and we haven't made it easy for you.

Ms Markle will need to score 75 per cent to pass, and she'll only have 45 minutes to complete the test (but you can take as long as you like).
