Does Love Island newbie Molly-Mae Hague have a 'secret boyfriend'?

New Love Island bombshell Molly-Mae Hague was linked to DJ Nathan Dawe ahead of her arrival in the villa, according to new reports.

The Sun claims that the Instagram influencer ‘went on a string of dates’ with Dawe, who has worked with J Hus and Example, ‘just one week’ before heading to Majorca to film the ITV2 dating show.

“Molly is still very much in touch with Nathan,” a source told the paper.

Representatives for the series have shut down the rumours and insisted that “Molly-Mae is single.”

Date: Molly-Mae is set to meet Tommy Fury in tonight's episode (ITV)

The former pageant contestant was previously in a relationship with Leicester City footballer James Maddison, but the pair split earlier this year.

Discussing her recent dating experiences ahead of her arrival on the show, Molly-Mae said: “All the dates I’ve been on have been guys from Instagram. A few footballers have slid into my DMs.

“I’ve dated footballers, it’s all just superficial and on the surface. And then you get to know them and they’re just a bang average ‘Jack the Lad.’”

Opening up on her approach to finding love on the show, the 20-year-old revealed that she “wouldn’t go out of [her] way to cause issues” in the villa” but said she will “go to the length [she needs] to go to get the guy [she] wants.”

Molly-Mae arrived at the villa at the end of last night’s episode and headed straight to the Hideaway.

The public voted for boxer Tommy Fury to go on a date with her ahead of the recoupling in tonight’s instalment, prompting a mixed response from the islanders.

Lucie appeared unimpressed to learn that Tommy would be the first boy to meet the new bombshell.

Love Island continues on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
