Vile abuser Geoff Metcalfe could meet his sticky end tonight as a fragile Yasmeen is forced to defend herself.
The nasty DJ, played by Ian Barthlomew, escalates his horrific abuse tonight as he confiscates her phone and locks her in the house.
Geoff later returns home and is irritated when Sally calls over the fence and invites Yasmeen (Shelley King) and him to the bistro.
As they get set ready to leave, Geoff looks at Yasmeen's outfit in disdain and instead forces her to wear an overtly sexy red dress instead.
Sally and Tim are left stunned when a self-concious Yasmeen turns up at the Rovers wearing the outfit, but later toast them.
Yasmeen is stunned when she discovers that Geoff has offered to pay for the wedding but when they return home, he turns incredibly vicious.
He mocks Yasmeen and tells her that he actually bought the dress for one of his many escorts
As Yasmeen is cornered, she grabs a wine bottle and defends herself - causing Geoff to fall lifelessly to the ground.
But is this the end of Geoff?
Next week, Yasmeen dials 999 and tells the operator that she has killed her husband.
The police and paramedics arrive, with the latter tending to Geoff and the former taking Yasmeen down to the police station.
As Yasmeen waits in her police cell the next day, the police search No. 6 for evidence but are unaware they are being filmed on Geoff's CCTV.
Alya later returns from Spain and arrives at the police station, before heading back to Weatherfield and telling Sally that Geoff has been controlling Yasmeen for months.
She also informs Yasmeen's friends in the Rovers about what has been going on, but will they believe her?
At the end of the week, Yasmeen is charged by the police - but is it for murder?
