It's the storyline that has given us plenty of harrowing and uncomfortable scenes for months now and on Friday, Coronation Street's domestic abuse plot comes to a head in dramatic fashion.
Viewers will be left wondering if the plot has taken a murderous turn as Yasmeen finally hits back at husband Geoff for the way he's been treating her and tells emergency services she's killed him.
For months now, many Corrie viewers have been left sickened by Geoff's cruel actions towards his wife, which have included making her tell people she was an alcoholic, to locking her in a box and even making her eat her own pet chicken.
But Yasmeen finally snaps in a special episode on Friday night. Things escalate when, after forcing Yasmeen to wear a risque red dress, he then tells her that he actually bought the dress for one of his many escorts.
If you haven't already guessed from the many adverts teasing Friday's Coronation Street an angry Yasmeen then ashes out with a wine bottle, leaving Geoff on the ground clutching his neck.
In a clip widely aired on ITV this week and shared on social media, Yasmeen can be seen ringing 999 saying: "I just killed my husband."
But has she?
Well, in true soap style, the teasers for next week's episodes don't give too much away. A synposis of the episode on Monday, May 4 reads: "Yasmeen faces the consequences of her red mist, as the paramedics attend to Geoff. She arrives at the police station to find Imran waiting for her, having taken a call from Ryan, while in the Rovers, the police question the regulars about Geoff and Yasmeen's relationship."
And then a summary of Wednesday's reads: "An exhausted Yasmeen sits in her police cell while the police search No 6 for evidence, unaware that they are being filmed on Geoff's CCTV."
Corrie sources have been very careful not to reveal a definitive outcome to Yasmeen's actions so it looks like the only way to find out if she has indeed murdered her abusive husband will be to tune into Coronation Street next week.
