Dodgy compo conman parks in disabled spot outside Dublin shop after fake injury claim while using walking stick

Dodgy compensation conman Iosca Constantin is continuing to claim he is injured as he goes around Dublin.

The conman is now using a walking stick when he goes around in public despite his 'fake' injuries.

On Wednesday, the shameless chancer - who tried to claim thousands with a “bogus” injury - was even spotted using a disabled parking spot outside a Dublin shop.

Neighbours around his home in Lusk described the Romanian national’s walking stick as “an accessory” he uses when he goes out.

On Tuesday he was forced to withdraw a compensation claim when the High Court was shown a video of the 40-year-old skipping seconds after putting his wheelchair in the boot of his car.

Yesterday he emerged from a VW minibus and only used his cane when approached by Dublin Live.

A neighbour said: “Don’t start me about him.

“It’s a bit like watching Lou and Andy from Little Britain.

“When people are around he’s acting like he’s crippled and when no one’s looking he’s running around.

“I saw him bringing in shopping the other day and there wasn’t a bother on him.

“The stick is a new thing... maybe he has another claim.”

The conman was spotted yesterday morning emerging from a car in a disabled parking spot outside the SuperValu supermarket in Lusk.

Shortly afterwards he arrived at his home in Scholar’s Way in the North Dublin town but refused to talk to our reporter when asked about his bogus compensation claim.

A neighbour said Constantin has the use of three cars including a BMW, a Mercedes ML320 4 Matic as well as the VW minibus.

He had sued the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland after he alleged he was involved in an accident when he was knocked off his bike by an unknown vehicle in June 2016.

The MIBI has confirmed the details of this case are being sent to gardai.
