Doctors use angle grinder to free toddler who got a pressure cooker stuck on his head

A one-year-old tot was rushed to hospital after getting his head stuck in a pressure cooker – before doctors had to cut him free with an angle grinder.

The young boy was taken to A&E over the weekend after he got the pot firmly lodged on his head while his parents weren't looking.

His mum and dad told stunned medics that they had not idea how the cooker became stuck on their son's head and they were unable to pull it off with their hands.

He was taken to SM Charitable Hospital in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, northern India where doctors stepped in to help.

Footage shows the moment surgeons were forced to cut the pot free using an angle grinder.

The video shows the tense moment doctors sliced into the cooker, millimetres from the toddler’s skull.

After several hours of painstaking effort by the medical team, the tot’s head was freed from the pressure cooker, and he was able to go back home with his parents.
