A 12-year-old girl is 'lucky' to not have suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Liscard Road, in Wallasey, after reports of a crash.
At the scene police found that a girl had been hit by a car.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and the driver stopped at the scene, and helped with enquiries.
The girl's auntie spoke to the ECHO and said doctors told them she was 'very lucky'.
She said: "My niece is doing okay thank god. She is very, very lucky the doctors said.
"She was observed for a few hours, but came away with cuts and bruises and a few lumps. But is doing okay."
A spokesperson for the force said: " Merseyside Police can confirm officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision, yesterday (Thursday, 3 March) in Wallasey.
"At around 7pm, a 12 -year-old pedestrian was in collision with a car on Liscard Road. The girl was taken to hospital with what was described as slight injuries.
"The driver of the car stopped at the scene and the road was closed for a short time."
