Whovians were in for a treat last night as John Barrowman reprised his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who.
The character hadn't been seen in the BBC sci-fi series in ten years, last appearing in David Tennant's final episode as the Doctor in 2010.
The latest instalment, Fugitive of the Judoon, saw Jack transport the Thirteenth Doctor's companions Graham ( Bradley Walsh), Ryan (Tosin Cole), and Yaz (Mandip Gill) to a mysterious location in an attempt to reach the Doctor.
Before he could be reunited with Jodie Whittaker's heroine, however, he was teleported away but did to leave a message for her.
In the ominous warning, Jack told the companions to pass on to The Doctor: "Beware of the lone Cyberman."

Discussing the warning with Radio Times, John Barrowman revealed the purpose of the message.
John explained: "It's basically to tell the Doctor not to give in, in a way, or not to compromise.
"But without quoting a line, he says to...it's been a while since I filmed it so forgive me for not knowing exactly off the top of my head. He says 'I'll be watching - if she needs me, I'll be there,' is kind of his last line."

Admitting that the appearance ended on a cliffhanger to the character, John was cryptic about his character's future in the show.
He teased: "Well, I mean if they ever ask Jack back, like I said I'll come back at the drop of a hat. Hopefully I'll get to work with Jodie, that would be incredible. That would be really incredible."
He also said that audiences "want to see Jack and Jodie's Doctor together."
The Cybermen are set to put in an appearance later in the series, so perhaps we will see Jack again in time for the finale?
The future is just as
Could she or Jack be the mysterious Timeless Child?
Doctor Who continues on Sunday on BBC One.
