Doctor Who visits Anfield in new series and makes Trent Alexander-Arnold claim

Doctor Who visited Anfield in the opening episode of the 13th series on BBC One.

The show stars Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor - the first female to ever play the character in the series - and John Bishop.

Bishop's character - Dan Lewis - is spotted entering his house outside Anfield on the night of Halloween before the famous Tardis lands minutes later.

"Liverpool?" The Doctor remarks after leaving the Tardis before spotting the newly-renovated Anfield stadium behind her.

"Anfield! The Klopp era! Classic!

"Maybe we can take in a game."

The Doctor also claims to have watched Liverpool's famous Champions League win against Barcelona on repeat and even goes as far as suggesting she was once a ball boy for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

She adds: "I've seen the Barcelona match nine times.

"I was a ball boy for Trent once."

As we know, the ball boy on that famous night whose quick thinking allowed Alexander-Arnold to take his corner quickly for Divock Origi to score was actually club academy prospect Oakley Cannonier.

Cannonier scored his 15th goal of the season at the weekend as Liverpool U18 thrashed rivals Everton 4-0.

Just days after Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger declared his love for the club, it seems the Reds have gained yet another famous fan in Doctor Who.
