Doc Rivers was so mad at this failed dunk attempt from Paul Reed and it was hilarious

Unless you’re a basketball nerd like me or a diehard Philadelphia 76ers fan, you probably have no idea who Paul Reed is.

He’s a forward for Philadelphia who doesn’t play much. He’s essentially their backup center now behind Joel Embiid with Andre Drummond gone in the James Harden trade.

He’s an absolute demon defensively. He really gets after it. All in all, Reed is actually a basketball player anyone would want on their basketball team. He typically doesn’t play much but he plays hard and you always love to see that.

So it’s quite a shame that you’re being introduced to him like this. But whatever. Y’all need to see this failed dunk attempt from Reed. It is spectacularly bad and hilarious.

Reed tries to go up for a reverse double-clutch dunk and loses the rim. Like, he just couldn’t find it. He tried to slam the ball and totally whiffed on it. It was just incredible.

And to add even more to it, he actually fouls Darius Bazley on his way down. Everyone ended up being alright, though.

Everything about this is pretty hilarious. Reed, himself, got a good laugh out of it.

Do you know who didn’t, though? Doc Rivers. He was absolutely not amused at all by this failed dunk attempt with the 76ers down 2 to Oklahoma City.

My man was HEATED, y’all. Phew. Paul definitely got an ear full after that one. That honestly makes this even funnier.

Of course, fans absolutely roasted him for this one.
