Doc Rivers told a great story about how a stranger in S.F. saved him for losing $2,000

Doc Rivers had a very human moment with a stranger in San Francisco on Monday and it’s just a shame the person didn’t stick around for the reward, which would have been free tickets to Game 2 between the Clippers and Warriors on Monday night in Oakland.

Rivers was walking down a city street when this happened:

Shoutout to the San Francisco person at the corner today. I was walking down the street – it’s a true story – I reached in my pocket to grab my phone and unbeknownst to me, I dropped about two grand on the street. Kept walking, didn’t know. The guy tapped me on the back and said, ‘That’s your money.’ I don’t know a lot of places where that would happen. But it happened today so whoever that was you could have had free tickets if you hadn’t ran away.

Here’s the video of Doc telling the story:

Always good to be reminded their are good people in the world.

Also, I wonder what it feels like to be walking around with two grand in my pocket.
