Do you think a 'circuit breaker' lockdown is the best option for Bristol? Have your say

There are probably very few of us that have gone a day without uttering or hearing the word 'coronavirus' in the past six months.

Since then, we've all been learning to abide by the restrictions and adapt to living in a new normal.

But as cases have been confirmed in schools and workplaces throughout the country, many have been asking about the possibility of a second 'circuit breaker' lockdown.

The idea of a circuit breaker would involve a total lockdown similar to what was put in place at the start of the pandemic.

However this would be for a much shorter period of time, such as two weeks, and would only be put in place if cases continue to soar.

The idea of the circuit breaker would give the country time to bring cases down, while also allowing time for contact tracers to aggressively pursue cases and curb a further spread of the virus.

Everyone has an opinion on what should happen next and we want to find out what you think.

Would you be happy to enter a second lockdown if it was necessary? Do you think people over 60 should stay at home to keep safe?

All you have to do is fill out the short survey below.

If the survey is not visible, click here.

We love to hear what you think about issues that are important in Bristol.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the results of this survey. We will release our findings in a couple of weeks and report back on what people really think.
