Do you shower or bathe every day? Or is being clean not that important?

Have you had a shower today? This is the question inadvertently posed by eco warrior Vivienne Westwood as part of a new campaign video she stars in for Peta. Unusually for the animal rights group, Westwood is in the buff and, rather than saving water, encouraging people to go vegetarian. While she cleans herself in a rather fetching shower cap, the fashion designer explains she can have "a long shower with a clean conscience" because she doesn't eat meat.

But, according to the Daily Mail, Westwood has commented on the contrary, saying she usually abstains from showering. "Normally at home I'm not used to the habit of a shower. I just wash my bits and rush out in the morning, and more often than not get in the bath after Andreas." (Andreas is her husband).

In our resource-precious, time-pressured world, do you still shower or bathe every day? Perhaps you've never been so strict about this ritual. Do you believe a quick wash is sufficient to feel clean? Or is not washing the last taboo?
