Police in Edinburgh are today appealing for information regarding a box of items found in an abandoned vehicle in Restalrig.
Officers from the Search and Recovery Team in the capital recently recovered the items pictured above and are hoping to reunite them with their rightful owner.
The police's search and recovery team (SART) work hard to reunite stolen property with its owners.
The belongings include: a black and white photo of a boy, a selection of jewellery, brooches and watches as well as what appears to be a purple metal lock box.
The objects were found on 23 July 2019 and police are asking those who may have any information that may assist in locating the rightful owners of the items to please call 101 quoting incident 3004 23/07/19.
