‘Do you know Chicken Neck?’: Cockroach Janta Party protest video sparks debate after participants fail to answer, watch viral video

A video from social-media-driven Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)'s first major protest in Delhi has triggered a wider discussion on general knowledge after participants were asked about controversial slogans and the strategic “Chicken Neck” corridor linking India’s Northeast.

The incident has since gained traction on social media after Union Minister Kiren Rijiju shared the clip on his X account, calling for greater awareness about the country’s geography and national issues.

Reporter Questions Protesters on Umar Khalid and Slogans

In the video, a reporter is seen engaging with protest participants and asking questions related to political slogans and public figures. The reporter first asks one of the protestors, "Do you support Umar Khalid?" To this, the protestor responds, "Yes, I support Umar Khalid."

The interaction then shifts toward a more sensitive topic involving slogans often described as controversial or anti-national in public discourse.

The reporter asks, "Do you think it's correct to support slogans like 'Bharat tere tukde honge, Bharat ko hum chicken neck se alag kar denge? as these are anti-national slogans. Do you know what is chicken neck?"

‘I Don’t Know About Chicken Neck’: Protesters Respond

When asked about the term “Chicken Neck,” one protestor replied, "I don't know about chicken neck, honestly speaking." Surprisingly, another protestor standing nearby was also unable to answer the question when the same topic was raised.

The exchange quickly became a talking point online, with users debating awareness about national geography and politically sensitive terminology.
