Do you have a spare room for a vulnerable young person?

Rock Trust West Lothian are urgently looking for more volunteer hosts to provide a spare room to a young person in need.

Nightstop West Lothian places young people aged 16 to 25 who need emergency accommodation and are in a moment of crisis in a safe, warm home for a few nights provided by a vetted and approved volunteer.

This service prevents young people from sleeping rough, sofa surfing or staying in unsuitable accommodation.

The use of spare rooms in a positive environment makes a huge difference to young people in a crisis.

They offer full training, 24-hour support and £15 expenses for each night.

Hosts offer an evening meal, a spare room and a listening ear.

The young person would leave after breakfast and return again in the evening.
